We’re looking for hot women shot by great photographers, anything from Pinup to tattooed, vintage to retro, boudoir or burlesque. Pose in costumes, in front of a hot rod, in the rain, in lingerie etc

MODEL  SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Please email some as many photos as you want (preferably from the same set), this gives us more to work with.  The more pictures you submit from the SAME set, the higher your chances are of getting a feature or even a multi-page spread -  ivy@ivy-magazine.com

 

Your pictures do NOT need to be exclusive.  However if your pictures that are not currently tied up with other publications and/or already posted all over the internet will give you a better shot of a feature and the readers will love to see you!  We respect any commitments you have made with your photos.

 

A GREAT photo is a GREAT photo and people will want to see it more than once.

 

It is fine to submit pictures in low resolution with or without watermarks since we know that is easier to email.  However, be aware that we will need high resolution (at least 300 DPI) to publish and we may ask for copies without watermarks..

 

IF WE ACCEPT YOUR PICTURES:

We will email you back & let you know we’d like to use your work in a future issue.

We will then need the specified photos in HIGH RESOLUTION.  At least 300 DPI.  It is preferred not to have pictures with watermarks.  We know this is not always possible but it is preferred.  Full-page photo must be at least 8.5 x 11 at 300 dpi (High Resolution photos are usually from 1MB to 10MB in size)

Our desire is to showcase the photos as large as possible and the best way to do that is to have a hi res photo that is vertically oriented (portrait mode aka taller than it is wide)

 

 

Please list the FULL credits for EACH PICTURE you submit!  We appreciate the hard work and effort that goes into making these photographs and want to make sure the proper credit is applied.  With each photo the Model, Photographer, Hair and Makeup Artists will be credited.  Any other credits will be on a case-by-case basis. We will make reasonable attempt to verify the spelling prior to publication and corrections are not guaranteed.

Below are the Model Release Forms and Photographer Release Forms.  Please make sure that the proper form(s) get filled out according to who owns the rights.  As a model, it is up to you to know what rights you have with a photo and these releases will protect you, us and the photographer.

If you own the rights then just print the Model Release Form, sign it, scan, & email back to us.  You can also take a photo of your singed release and send that via email  

 

If the photographer owns the rights then you need to give them the Photographer Release Form so they can sign & one of you will need to email back to us.  They will still hold all copyrights and be credited. 

 

We will NOT publish your work if we don’t get Release Form(s) signed, full list of required credits AND the Hi Res photos.

PHOTOGRAPHER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:​

 

Please email low res photos (preferably 2 or more pictures of the SAME model) - The more pictures you submit from the SAME set, the higher your chances are of getting a great spread and even possibly landing the cover! ;) You can email the initial photos in Low Resolution with or without watermarks (once we tell you the ones we’d like to use, then we will ask for the Hi Res, preferably without logos) ivy@ivy-magazine.com

 

Alternately if you already use online photo storage/sharing site you may send along the specific links for the images that you are submitting.  If these are already Hi res we may choose to download and publish these images.  

 

Please only submit photos that are not currently tied up with other publications and/or already posted all over the internet! You pictures do NOT need to be exclusive, but it looks better for your fans and our readers if they do not see the same picture all over the place.  Once the issue with your pictures has been released, feel free to tag pictures with “As seen in Ivy Magazine”

We will email you and let you know that we’d like to use your work in a future issue. Above are the Model Release Forms and Photographer Release Forms. – it is YOUR responsibility to make sure that the proper form(s) get filled out according to who owns the rights - if you own the rights then just sign the Photographer Release Form & email back to us with a copy of your existing model release form.  If the model owns the rights then you need to give them the Model Release Form so they can sign & one of you will need to email back to us.  The release allows us to copyright the magazine, but you will still hold all copyrights, rights and privileges to the photos themselves as you are the photographer.  You will be credited in the magazine as the photographer. 

 

 

We will NOT publish your work if we don’t get the Release Form(s) signed.

 

You will then be asked to email the pictures we want to use High Resolution (anywhere from 1MB to 10MB) preferably without watermarks/logos – If your pictures do not meet these requirements we may not be able to use the images

Do not leave anything out & be as exact as possible, the more credits you list the better (we might not have enough room to print them all but we will try our best) We’re all about giving people proper credits for their work so we’re a big stickler on this, be sure you proof read and spell names correctly.
